Although the building process has changed very little over the years, the Building Code and construction materials used are always changing. Therefore it is important to understand what these changes may mean for prospective purchasers.

Our Building Reports endeavour to give buyer’s peace of mind through the buying and selling process with a solution based Report and recommendations regarding issues highlighted on inspection. All inspections include a search of Council property records to ascertain whether these are complete.

Many dwellings have what could be called Unauthorised Building Work or alterations that should have had Council approval at the time building work was undertaken. Inspections of this work can be done to ascertain whether an Unauthorised Building Report or Certificate of Acceptance application is made to Council to have this work entered onto the property records.
